You're probably asking yourself "what is this doing here, this isn't a zombie book." Well you're wrong. In his book Jonathan Maberry covers many different kinds of creatures; vampires, werewolves, and many others, both living and undead. You won't find zombies as they appear in modern incarnations. This book goes back in time and reviles monsters as they appeared in folklore. This is a great book and really chases down how old beliefs contributed to modern horror. Look for the word reverent; these monsters rise from the dead much like modern zombies. Some ate flesh. Some drank blood. It's really a great read. I recommend you check it out if you have an interest in folklore.
