Where to next?

It's the middle of fucking nowhere and there's zombies here. How? A state filled with hunters and survivalists. Vermont. Only 500,000 people in this state and 415,000 are dead or undead. We can't hold out much longer, low on ammo, fortunately the area is filled with deer and other small animals, we get water from a well, but without ammo we can't do shit. So, where to, there's nowhere to go, Burlington is 60 miles away and from what I hear everyone there is dead, we can't go to Montreal because the roads are filled with abandoned cars, the ham radio still has some working channels and that's the only way we get any news, but it's terrible to hear some of the stuff, screams, gunshots, children crying. The government hasn't been any help, I haven't seen the military since the end of the first month after the outbreak, and there's a small base about 6 miles away. From what I hear some of the units are shipping off to someplace called "Camp Saint Teresa" out in the deserts of the southwest. My brother just told me what's left. " 39 30-06 caliber rounds, 27 12-gauge shotgun shells, 139 .223 caliber cartridges, 12 AA batteries, 7 C batteries, and 49 gallons of gas for the generator. Were almost out of food, the more zombies that come near us the less animals there are, the garden isn't growing that well and it's getting more dangerous to go out, but, in 3 months it will be winter, if the theory is correct the zombies will freeze until the spring, then, maybe we can finally get the hell out of here.
