Z Day

It started as a normal day. I got up, ate breakfast, took a shower, and let the dogs out. Then I turned on the tv. It seemed during the night and continuing into the morning roits broke out in Madison and Milwakee. People were attacking people at random and biting them. There were also stabbings and shootings. Officals were warning people to stay in their homes and lock the doors. They were shutting down all non-emergency buisnesses and telling people to stay home. They were showing some footage of the attacks and from the emergency rooms. There were even rumors of the dead coming back to life and that they were the ones attacking people. I watched in awe for about an hour then started to do chores. I waashed the dishes cleaned up and started my laundry. Then I went back to the tv. I t seemed like there was no change, just some experts talking about mass hysteria and other stuff. I decided to give my freind Jessica a call. She wasent doing anything and invited me over to play WII. I went over to her house stopping at the Kwik Trip to buy a Dr Pepper. We played WII until her mom came home at about 5. She was very animated about the news and insisted we watch it with her. At around 7 we got hungry and decided to go to Burger King and get some Whopper Jrs. While there all we heard people talking about was the riots and how they were getting worse. We went back to her place and ate our food and watched more news. Around 10 we were getting bored and decided to head out to Bucks. We smoked a joint in the car and went inside. It was about an usual crowd of 30-40 people. I said hi to Ron and Jeff, the brothers that owned the place and were tending bar. I ordered Jess a red headed slut and got a beer for myself. Some people we know came up and started talking about the news. Then I noticed a guy sitting in the back looking sick. I asked if anyone knew him but nobody did. He looked really bad. A lush went up to try and get a drink from him and he lunged at her. He bit her brest and started punching her. All hell broke loose. A buch of rednecks grab the guy and pull him off the lush. He starts tring to bite them as they drag him outside. I watch out the window as they take turns punching and kicking the guy. He takes blow after blow and gets up and keeps coming. He bites one guys arm and another guys leg. Ron is on the phone calling out the cops and an ambulance. The lush is on the floor screaming with a half dozen women gathered around tring to comfert her. The cops and ambulance come. The cops try to talk the crazed guy down but he bites one of their hands. They pepper spray and tase him neither of witch has much affect. The EMTs are working on the lush while this is going on. About the time they get her on the cart the cops mob the guy and manage to handcuff him. They get him in the car and hes still trying to bite them. The EMTs evidently called another ambulance to look at the other bitten people and it shows up as they leave to take the lush to the hospital. I look at Jess and we say "Weird shit" at the same time. We have a few more drinks and decide to call it quits around midnight. I drop her off then head home and go to bed. I check out the news one more time and hear they have declaired martial law in Madison and Milwakee and that similar violence is now happening in most major cities around the country.
