Zombie Ambush (part 3 of The Outbreak)

I nearly reached the police station, every step gets darker and darker and the moans of the dead gets louder and louder,I deserve to take a rest, I saw a big abandoned house and decided to stay there for a while, I checked first my colt.45 and loaded it, and I put it in my pocket, And I get my baseball bat and opened the main door with caution, When I opened the door a little, I peeked inside and it was so dark and I forgot my flashlight! I closed the door again and find another way to get inside the house. I saw the backdoor and gets inside with caution again, I peeked again and I saw a small light coming from inside. I went inside and ready my baseball bat, i walked slowly in the dark, hallway that leads to the light source, when I'm in the middle of the hallway, the light source shuts off, I didn't know what to do and I can't see anything! When I'm looking for a way to get out, i saw a doorknob that shined brightly,I hurried and get inside the room. When I'm inside the door, I saw a switch, I clicked it and the light in the wall activated, but it is blurred, when I was checking if there are any zombies inside the room, i saw 5 large boxes in front of me. I looked for a tool to open it,I went near the door, and when I looked back, 5 zombies are starring at me and ready to attack me! I swung the baseball bat and I hit one zombie and went down, the other zombies walks towards me,i opened the door 3 more zombies in front of me! The zombies ambushed me! I really don't know what to do and just closed my eyes and waited for my death, but I heard I big bang and I quickly crouched and opened my eyes. I saw the zombies just fell one by one and has a hole in it's fore-head, Luckily, other survivors checked the house too. I thanked the 5 of them and let them come with me. They said,"all rooms are checked and the lights are now activated, we can stay here for a while and take a rest" I thanked them again and looked for a room to sleep in, when I turned the lights on, I saw a Sniper Rifle in the table and it has 5 clips and there is a note beside it, it says," This is a gift for you from the survivors you met, we are the Mendoza family, this rifle will may help you" I loaded the sniper rifle and put it in the table and slept, I decided to go to the police station tomorrow.
