The Last Stand Episode 3: Purpose in Chaos

They were seven, now they are three. The other side of the river didn't prove safe for them as once thought. Davis, Beth, and "Shots" survived another zombie attack and have now met a group of survivors known as The Remains. Led by Tenison, a man who watched his wife die only to become a zombie, he has given our survivors some rather bad news: St. Teresa's isn't the safe place as they thought.

Like Prime, I wish I was local to contribute if needed. Looks like your crew has a good time in these vids. I like the quality in story, video, score and editing. I said it before and I'll say it again, I look forward to your future submissions.

Hahahaha, the Jacob character, played by Roy. He is a great dude in real life, and would love to have explored his character. He lives in Seattle, which is 3 hours north of here. I was afraid to have him commit because that is a large deal to drive down here on the weekends. I felt it was too much to ask considering how much I was paying.

I shoot on a Canon XL H1a. It is shot in HDV to tape, in the pseudo-30 frames per second setting that Canon has. It shots in pseudo 24, pseudo 30, and 60i. I love the thing! Because it is Canon, I can interchange Canon lenses on it as well. I capture footage with HDV Split, which makes m2t video files. I edit in Adobe Premiere CS4, and output through Media Encoder in H264 HD 1280x720. Wow, you didn't ask any of that. I gave you the bonus plan.

I understand what you're saying. I do think this is the place to deliver criticism if it's constructive. If not in the comments box under the video, then where?
I apologize if it sounds like I'm being harsh. Your videos are amazing. But you should consider my comments. Feel free to disregard them altogether, but it can't hurt to hear them. We learn by doing, sure, but we also learn by listening.

Well, PRIME, let's talk numbers. What's your day rate, how much is a plane ticket from PA, and can you fit in most over head compartments?
PRIME_Ω_PREDATOR Comment by PRIME_Ω_PREDATOR on February 8, 2010 at 12:45pm
Dude, if you were in Pa I'd love to work with you on your weekend shoots. Your episodes rock. They are as realistic as a Horror/Action/Fantasy Genre needs to be to entertain. Keep em coming.

I think you are missing the point. That both of us can have criticism, but this isn't necessarily the forum or the place. I wasn't being any more defensive as I was giving my critique back. This is a user generated forum for fun and creativity. Most people here do the best they can with what they have. Pat them on the back and wish them well, and encourage then to continue having fun with this project. We learn by doing. I don't believe this is necessarily the place to point out what most of us probably already know about our productions.

OK. I was only trying to be helpful. You don't have to be so defensive. You're going to encounter constructive criticism every now and then.
