Fredericksburg isn't that close...I used to live there.

I ran into the zeds (the first time) when I lived in Mexico. Not sure what caused them, but I didn't stay in the area.

Encountered a single zombie in Oklahoma, not sure where it came from though. Haven't found any here, but I'm not looking very hard either...
