Profile Information

At the time of the zombie outbreak I was...
Online, looking up Bruce Campbell pics.
Weapon of choice for fighting zombies...
Crowbar, baseball bat, chainsaw, double-barrelled shotgun and whatever the freak else I can get my hands on.
How did you find out about LostZombies.com...
Lek told me about it on another zed related site. I don't quite remember where.
If it was good enough for Bruce Campbell in the Evil Dead series, it's good enough for me (don't try to lecture me on chainsaws....I already know :P )

Update: I will no longer be accepting invites to just any Outbreak. Feel free to invite me if you'd like, but I can't guarantee anything. :)

Take a look at what my kid has been up to

Can anyone help this lost zombie?

Intermission

Due to sick kids and arguments with my ISP, I haven't been able to blog. I should be in full form (blogging, Modding and otherwise kicking zed tookus) by Thursday 11/25/08. In the meantime, here's something to ponder: Why can't the chainsaw be as useful in real life as it is in the movies? Is Hollywood trying to get us killed?

Post Z-Day: How I'll Lose My Mind-- Day 4, Tuesday, Early Afternoon

Any thoughts I had of leaving Sally behind were quickly banished from my mind. I had never expected her to be a frontline fighter and the fact that I knew my kids were safe with her was far more important. Looking out the window, it appeared that ground zero hadn't hit our small town yet and another day may make getting out of town more difficult, but it wasn't going to be impossible, especially with Norton driving. I glanced at the clock, tick...tick...time seemed to be standing still and movi… Continue

Post Z-Day: How I'll Lose My Mind-- Day 4, Tuesday Morning

Sleep was, at best, un-restful. I tossed and turned, finally settling down at 8am. Even still, I was up by 11:30. I smelled like dog. Norton's and Sally's pet had decided that sleeping next to me was a good idea. I appreciated the gentle company, but I still had her hair all over me. Better than blood I guess. Andy was already up, and Sally was just staring out the window. For both of them to be this quiet was out of character. I then saw why, Sally was pale and shaking. I moved towards her, s… Continue

Post Z-Day: How I'll Lose My Mind-- Day 3: Monday Late Night

I grabbed the semi-auto I had used earlier off of the table and raced towards the room. I don't know if zombies could have gotten in their, but I'll be damned if I'd take any chances. I needn't have bothered, Kevin was coming towards me: glassy-eyed, unaware of my presence, not a zombie, but sleepwalking. I clicked the safety back on. Had I already become so paranoid that a scream from my son automatically meant his life was in danger? I gently guided Kevin towards his bed, stepping on a stuff… Continue

Post Z-Day: How I'll Lose My Mind-- Day 3: Monday Night

With the kids tucked in and a whispered wish for "sweet dreams," I now knew it was time for the serious conversations to begin. The kitchen clock, a plaster pair of wolves who seemed unaware of the world except each other, ticked overhead. Sally had made the coffee this time. Honestly, I liked it better when she did since we both drank it with creamer (hazlenut for me, french vanilla for her) it needed to be stronger. I smoothed the vinyl tablecloth, a habit when I wanted to say something but d… Continue

"I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives." --Tyler Durden
